Thirty years of construction experience, a sharp eye
An exceptional home needs someone who does not only look at the chandelier, but also at the hook that holds it.
That would be me.
My name is Dennis Loos, founder of Firma Fijnwerk. Pleased to meet you. I started out as a carpenter, later became a site manager and project manager in high-end villa construction, and more than thirty years later I still look at homes with that same eye: sharp, practical and not easily impressed.
Do not get me wrong: I love beautiful materials, craftsmanship, skilled work and homes with character. But I also know that quality is not only found in what you see. It is in the connections, the routing, the technical systems behind the wall and the choices that still prove to be right five years from now.
I work in homes where a great deal is possible, allowed and expected. That does not call for someone who simply nods along. It calls for someone who thinks along, speaks up when needed and discreetly solves what requires attention.
You may notice that I do not have an extensive portfolio online. As proud as I am of my work, and as much as I would like to show every exceptional project, not everything Firma Fijnwerk does belongs on a website. Unless agreed otherwise, there is always the quiet understanding: what happens behind the front door stays there.
Firma Fijnwerk is my way of working in one name: stylish where possible, practical where needed.
